The third batch of evacuated Nigerians have arrived at Abuja. They got to Abuja from Port Sudan and were received by officials of the Federal Government on Saturday.

They landed at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport yesterday afternoon at 1:45pm. It was the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, who mentioned this. They said this batch which consists of 131 people are mostly women and children.

They have expressed their optimism about the evacuation process being a success.

Recall on Friday, the second of Nigerian evacuees arrived in Abuja around 3pm.
Last Wednesday, the first batch arrived in Nigeria.

We're still expecting more Nigerians to arrive as time goes on. Air Peace, Max Air and some others are involved in conveying them back to Nigeria.
