Kashim Shettima met with his former senator colleagues and implored each one of them to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. This information was disclosed by Shettima's Director of Information, Olusola Abiola yesterday, the 19th of July.

The meeting recorded massive attendance from senators across different political affiliations. The list of the attendees was Sen. George Sekibo, Sen. Philip Aduda, Sen. Sam Egwu, Sen. Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe, Sen. Aliyu Abdullahi, Sen. Chukwuma Ibezim, Sen. Gabriel Suswam, Sen. Albert Bassey Akpan, Sen. Emmanuel Bwacha, Sen. Biodun Olujimi, Sen. Nora Daduut, Sen. Ibrahim Oloriegbe, Sen. Chukwuma Utazi, Sen. Uche Ekwunife, Sen. Betty Apiafi, Sen. Michael Nnachi, Sen. Istaifanus Gyang, Sen. Yakubu Oseni; Sen. Suleiman Kwari, Sen Danjuma Laah, Sen. Cleopas Moses, Sen. Stella Oduah, Sen Hassan Mohammed, Sen. Bulus Amos, Sen. Clifford Ordia, and Sen. Hezekiah Dimka.

At the meeting, VP Shettima described Tinubu as a good leader striving to transform the country. He said, "President Tinubu is a good man, I will urge all of us to rally round and support him.”

Shettima added that he has built bonds of friendship with his former colleagues that would last him a lifetime. He assured all the senators on sit that he is willing to work with them for the betterment of the nation.

Upon hearing Shettima's speech, Sen. Philip Aduda, leader of the delegation urged all the senators to pledge their support for President Bola Tinubu's administration. He also prayed for the success of all policies and programs implemented by the administration.
