Bola Tinubu, a Former governor of Lagos state has condemned rumors that he financed and ordered the shooting of innocent protesters at Lekki toll gate, denying having any involvement in the shooting.

Tinubu however confessed he order security operatives to repel protesters away but denied ordering shooting. He however, issued a statement of advice to the Nigeria government.

He said that victims of the shooting at Lekki on Tuesday should be rightfully compensated and taken care of for their struggles noting that compensations should also be extended to other identifiable victims of police brutality in Lagos.

He stated that the money should be used to compensate and chatter for victims who lost their lives and limbs for the cause.

Nsmnews reports that Bola Tinubu allegedly had investments in TVC and The National newspaper which were vandalised by hoodlums. Tinubu was convinced it was a plow by opponents to ruin him.
