We can compete without being negative, Toyin Abraham says in an open message to Funke Akindele
Actress Toyin Abraham writes an open letter to her industry colleague Funke Akindele over the fierce nature of competition in the Nollywood Industry. She encouraged healthy competition among the Actors and movie producers instead of the usual bickering and negativity. Toyin added that the days of backbiting and trying to taint the images of one another are long gone, and everyone in the industry should learn to compete healthily.
Toyin went on to congratulate Funke Akindele for producing blockbusters and raking in over 1 billion in sales. That is a record that has never been set in the Nollywood movie production scene and Funke Akindele was able to mesmerize her colleagues with the great feat. Toyin Abraham said she sees it as an opportunity to challenge herself to do better than she has always done while knowing that no dream is unattainable.
