Afrobeats superstar Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun popularly known as Wizkid shades Mavin Records boss, Don Jazzy and his signee Ladipoe Eso aka Ladipoe.

Wizkid recently made a buzz online after throwing shades at his colleagues Davido, Don Jazzy, and his signee Ladipoe. It all started when a Wizkid fan told the singer to respond to Ladipoe's recent statement online. Ladipoe recently threw a shade at Wizkid on X saying, "Nigerian rappers that survived 'hip hop is dead', watching Afrobeats artists go through their own."

Recall that Wizkid stirred reactions months after speaking about the decline of the hip-hop genre. Recently, the "Essence" crooner also made headlines after he stated that he isn't an Afrobeats artist.

Wizkid responded by saying he has no business with someone who is signed to an influencer (Don Jazzy).

Wizkid's recent comment about Don Jazzy and Ladipoe has stirred controversy. In a subtle jab, Wizkid referred to Don Jazzy as merely an "influencer" while criticizing Ladipoe's work. This sparked debate among fans, with some interpreting it as playful banter and others seeing it as a genuine critique. Regardless, it adds fuel to the ongoing discussions about the dynamics within the Nigerian music industry.
